Q: QuestionIf I want to upgrade RAM from 8 to 16, do I have to replace the 8Gb already installed with a 16Gb RAM or there is an empty slot for an additional 8 to get 8x2?
Asked by Zeead.
- A:Answer There is 2 Ram slots. One card faces upside down (top slot, Ram chip faces towards board), the second slot is on the bottom (logo should be face up). The 8gb in this pc is on 1 Ram chip. So to go to 16, you just need another 8gb ddr4 Ram chip.
