You should be asking the Fn-Q modes... its a 3060, but max-q (a play on Max-Q in Aerospace, for max dynamic pressure, symbolized by the lowercase q [I'm an Aero Engineer IRL]). Max-Q is marketing, no longer used. Look at power strata, 80/100/130. This depends entirely on the physical design, all the RTX 3060s can do 130+ watts if properly cooled. This machine is 100 watt. Performance mode (red button) is 100watt (loud, about 54db). Balanced is ~65w (white)(44-48db, at full 65w) and low (blue) is 30 watt (dead silent at all times). This GPU can take 140 watt, but the thin heat pipes and small vapor chamber in this THIN (Legion Slim 7 2021) laptop can only dissipate 100 watts with typical room temperatures. In typical 3D games, you lose about half the frame rate from Red to Blue. The 3060 at 1080p is so fast, I usually do all gaming in Blue, or in the most demanding titles, White. Its only a few percent more frames to use max (red).
