  • QuestionDoes the keyboard have per-key or zone RGB lighting? This isn't very clear in the description.

    Asked by John.

    • Answer YES, YOU HAVE OPTIONS WHEN IT COMES TO THE RBG BACKLIT KEYBOARD. I KNOW OF A FEW OF THEM SO FAR AS I HAVE ONLY HAD THIS LAPTOP FOR ONE WEEK. YOU CAN LEAVE IT RAINBOW (DEFAULT AT START UP) YOU CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE ENTIRE KEYBOARD TO ONE COLOR (LIKE BLUE AS I DID) YOU CAN HAVE DIFFERNT COLOR ZONES ( I THINK 4 ZONES TOTAL) OF DIFFERENT COLORS. LASTLY, YOU CAN HAVE THE RAINBOW EFFECT CHANGE WITH THE BEAT OF THE MUSIC YOU ARE PLAYING! (OR TO THE SOUNDS OF THE GAME THAT YOU ARE PLAYING). IT IS A PRETTY KEWL FEATURE FOR SURE...

I bought mine open box, and saved over 300, above teh sale price. I immediately downgraded to Windows 10 home, even though you can buy windows 10 pro for less than $11 now.

  • QuestionCan this be docked to and use the full resolution of an ultrawide curved monitor?

    Asked by Paul.

    • Answer Yes. Ultrawide itself has nothing to do with it. you do this via USB-C. Its not just about res, its about refresh rate (e.g, bandwidth). Its no problem gaming however, but not at 165hz external.

  • QuestionHow many m.2 ssd drives can I put in this laptop? Is it using a vapor chamber for cooling?

    Asked by Stark.

    • Answer Two. You should be asking what form factor, and gen, and cooling. Its Gen 3x4 NVMe, form factor M.2 2280 times two. No heat pipe for either NVMe slot, but the #1 slot does have copper, and both have thermal pad to the aluminum back. If you are doing productivity, the NVMe will get very hot, so ensure you properly seat pad (or buy new one) to frame. You will get about 3550 MB/s read and about 3100 MB/s write, depending on other apps running when you test. Attached is a CDM 8.0.4 SS, with 64% full and 4 months of use, on the stock 512 GB NVMe.
