However, I have watched my son play with the laptop unplugged - and I don't think it lasted more than a couple hours of moderate gaming use. It depends on what type of games you will be playing, screen brightness, peripherals etc. Keep in mind that if not plugged in, your frame rates will drop drastically in resource-heavy games. Fans will suck your battery power - expect to not use RGB keyboard lighting, etc. I'm not saying you can't do it here and there - but to me, it's not ideal. Regular web browsing or Youtube (with screen brightness turned down) should give you much much more time. I really like this laptop, but would not expect a ton of intensive gaming unplugged.
