I just when through this trying to upgrade my Legion T5 26AMR. I originally wanted to upgrade 64GB and purchased and installed CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 64GB (2 x 32GB) from Best Buy. Upon installation it was underclocked at 2133 instead of the 3200. Called Lenovo Tech support, I was told my machine was ONLY expandable to 32GB and that I voided my warranty because it was not withing spec. I returned the memory and then purchased CORSAIR - VENGEANCE PRO 32GB (2PK x 16GB) and installed. This also was showing under clocked. I called Lenovo Tech support again, I was told then that my machine was expandable to 128GB of RAM. I finally returned the Vengeance sticks and bought 32GB RAM from Crucial memory. I can happily say i now have 32GB running at 3200MHz. I believe its because the Lenovo bios has no support for XMP profiles. Please google Lenovo Legion and XMP profiles, its sad that there is no support for it in a gaming PC. What a headache and I am not too fond of Lenovo Tech support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The limited Manufacturer's warranty from Lenovo covering Lenovo OEM hardware is still in place. We recommend you consult your 3rd party parts supplier about any warranty on the parts you add.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.hey i just bought this pc...was considering getting the ram you listed..can you tell me if ur getting the full 3600mhz
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a recent issue with another part and took the PC to best buy geek squad, to which they said that they were not allowed to work on it and that the pc would need to be sent out to Lenovo. They asked me if I still had the original ram and said that my warranty would be voided if I did not have the original part to swap out. So, if you don't want your warranty voided I suggest keeping the original components.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No this will not void any warranty
