I would recommend seeing how it runs before taking it apart, and going from there, especially since it has a warranty. I upgraded mine straight away. I used Crucial DDR5 SODIMM 4800MHZ per lenovo recommendations. Can't really go wrong with any reputable brand. I hear good things about Corsair ram aswell.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most computers will automatically recognize new storage and RAM slots after installation, even after the first startup. Just make sure the computer is shut completely off and unplugged before doing any upgrades to the system. A couple of good brands for RAM would be Corsair, Crucial, or G-Skill. One of the best storage options would be Samsung or Western Digital. This laptop should be able to play Beam NG well, but quality settings will depend on the performance. Hope this helps!
