Yes, you just have to make sure the hertz matching e.g. if is 8gb ddr5 3600 ghz the ram you add will have have to be ddr5 3600 ghz

Just upgraded mine to 16GB with a second 8GB DIMM, but I don't see a reason you couldn't go with 32GB if you needed to by swapping in 2 x 16GB.
