  • QuestionWhen does Google stop supporting this device with Chrome operating system updates?

    • Answer Google stopped supporting the Lenovo N22 in June 2022. It will still function for casual web browsing, online (web) office suites, YouTube, etc. for another year or two but for security, you're looking at having to install some form of Linux such as GalliumOS, CloudReady, ChromeFlex, etc. but this always involves disassembling your Chromebook to disable the Write-Protect Device. This guy (https://youtu.be/c1398gVg4Lk) recommends installing LACROS instead.

    • Answer On the left side, you'll find the power jack, an HDMI port, a USB 3.0 port, a two-in-one card reader, and a headphone jack. The right side has another USB 3.0 port and a Kensington lock slot.

    • Answer According to Netbook News, yes, it does support Android Apps. It also supports ChromeOS Linux Beta as well as Crostini if you prefer the non-Google approach.

  • Questionhow long does battery lasted?

    • Answer Brand new, PC Magazine found the battery lasted 9 hours but that was back in December of 2016. I wouldn't count on more than two or three hours, it would be better to replace the battery with a newer one (about $20 to $35 for a replacement battery).
