This laptop is quite well built and comes in at 3.4lbs. For reference, a MacBook Air M1 is just about 2.8lbs. While it is heavier than a MacBook Air, the weight difference isn't something you'll notice day-to-day. I have both for reference. And of note is that this laptop will outperform such a MacBook quite handily.
