“Is there any way to make freesync work with this laptop? I believe gsync works over hdmi but from what I’ve heard that’s only if the monitor has a gsync module and those are expensive and hard to find”

• I have a very similar model (with the 7840HS processor) and it does have freesync function (40-90hz), according to the AMD software.

• I believe you can try by Connecting your phone or connect it to another Monitor With the hdmi cord
