The game works with the Star Wars: Jedi Challenges headset and select smart phones. Please find the updated list of phones at jedichallenges.com/compatibility.The phone goes into the headset and the player looks through it and interacts/plays holographic games: Lightsaber battles, Holochess and Strategic combat. 
The game is intended for people 13 and older.

Any kid will love it! He will/would love it! But be aware; there also has to be a new smartphone/cellphone to play this game. This does NOT use a TV or computer. Only certain new* smartphones can play this. Without it, you will only have a $200 weird costume.
