• Provided that you have a very strong wifi signal that isn't dipping or dropping out, you should be able to play streaming apps very well. I've watched feature film length videos on regular Youtube on mine without a hitch when I'm in my house and close to my pretty good cable modem/wifi setup. I haven't tried it out anywhere that has 'free wifi' yet, so I don't know how it would do there.
