The Tab4, 10.1" does not have and HDMI port , but is does have a Micro USB port. You can use a Micro USB to HDMI ,MHL adaptor cable to connect to a newer TV. You can tell if this will work by checking the HDMI port on the TV for a MHL logo above it. If it has the MHL logo, you are ready to go.
