Most people don't talk about this anymore, but when USB 3.0 first came out, there were adapters for HDMI allowing support A/V plus touch on external monitors with the right adapter. You can get video up to 4K from USB 3.0 Type-A from Kensington, Eaton, other manufacturers. Lower resolution displays will allow it to offer greater functionality. I hope this helps, FunFractals
