What exactly is a refurbished product? null

This is a used system that has been reconditioned both in hardware and software to make it more up to date and salable. We recommend you check with Best Buy for details about this specific system.

Somebody had it before you purchased. The company went through all it's parts. Checked that everything was in working order. Cleaned it up. It arrives to you looking brand new. I've never personally bought a refurbished laptop. But I have bought plenty of refurbished digital cameras and have been happy. They could of been heavily used by the first owner or used for a day and brought back.
