A:Answer Hey Ren, hopefully, this hasn't reached you too late. I actually use one of these on a day to day basis at work as a software engineer. You really don't need an expensive over the top rig for programming. This laptop may even be overkill but if you've got the extra $$ it would probably be worth it.
