“problems with touchpad in tablet mode I am not sure if this is normal but my touchpad is still active in tablet mode. This is kind of annoying and not sure how to fix. I updated the ELAN driver but the problem still exists. Great laptop other than this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated?”

There is an icon in right bottom ribbon to turn touch pad off/on
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it is normal that touch pad be active in normal mode. I sometimes even like it because I can scroll down with touch screen, or select some where in this screen. However, if the keyboard is not active in normal mode, that is definitely a problem. I hope it helps a bit.
