• The active pen is stored within the body of the computer and recharges there as well. Look on the right side, near the front edge of the device. The pen is there.

• The pen is in a small compartment on the right side at the front

• Mine actually did come with a pen, but it comes inserted in the slot so it wasn't obvious until I went looking for it. It is to the right of the unit towards the front. There is a small piece of plastic with a red line on it. If you put your fingernail under the groove you can pull it out.
