“For my purposes, I need the USB ports to ALWAYS stay on for my program to run correctly. I was informed that only Lenovo computers do. Can you confirm this? And also, if it's only specific computers, which ones? Thank you! Hope”

They stay on, once you allow it. Even after the laptop is fully powered down.

Please try again later.This Lenovo Yoga 6 13, model number 82UD0000US, ships with these ports: 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Always On), 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (support data transfer, Power Delivery 3.0, and DisplayPort 1.4) with video out, 1x HDMI 2.0, 1x microSD card reader, 1x Headphone / microphone combo jack (3.5mm). The 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Always On) port supports charging devices via the USB port when the PC is off. The always-on USB connector can charge external devices when the computer is turned off, in sleep or hibernation mode. The power output for charging purposes is low voltage power and is approximately 5V, which is not enough power to run the computer. We recommend you check with your software publisher's web site for the power level needed to run your program. The always-on function can be turned on or off in the UEFI/BIOS setup utility. Note: If Lenovo Vantage is pre-installed on your computer, you can also set always-on function within that software.
