No, not really. It doesn't have a dedicated graphics processing chip to help it with newer games. For gaming, look for a laptop that has an nVidia RTX GPU chip in it, but beware there's trade-offs to get that graphics chip in these sub-$1000 machines. The gaming computers often have worse battery life, they weigh more, have poorer screen brightness and color accuracy (not as good for watching video content or editing photos), and you can't get them in a 2-in-1 design. You do get better all around performance, though, for pretty much everything except battery life. And they are generally better at accepting upgrades or replacement parts for the memory and storage space and the screens usually have nice and fast refresh rates. So, you'll have to decide which features are more important when shopping for a sub-$1000 system. To find one that nearly does it all, you'll probably be looking at closer to $1500 and up price range, but even then you likely still won't find one in a 2-in-1 configuration. Gaming graphics chips require additional cooling which makes the computer too thick for 2-in-1 case designs.
