“Just set my laptop up last night. Noticed then while it was setting up that there appeared to be a yellow/greenish tint or hue. After finishing, same thing. Tried calibrating and other things recommended, nothing has worked. What to do to fix?”

That's the nature of screens at this price range unfortunately. You'll only get a nice display at the $2k price range.

This setting is designed to make the display warmer to help with wind down time, or less bright in the evening or when in darker environments.
