A:AnswerYou have to disable the Pen in Device Manager. That worked for me at least.

A:AnswerHey again, PeteM3, this has happened to other Windows users and it's an arbitrary file, non-important. You can delete it by searching for the file name in file explorer and deleting it in its place of origin on the PC (usually under C:Users//) or you can try to perform a Windows Cleanboot (here's a link with steps on how to do so (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/a-strange-file-opens-every-time-i-startrestart-my/ca7a3e6e-74d6-4b6b-b572-a7ea7980b854)).
A:AnswerActually, I went into the BIOS/UEFI menu and disabled the "USB Always On" feature. Now, you would think that if something was not plugged into the USB port (and it wasn't), it wouldn't drain the battery, but the battery did lose it's charge as I mentioned in the original question. After I disabled this feature, the battery held it's charge over several hours after shut down.
A:AnswerHey, JG94. Based off the system requirements that are listed on the sites for AutoCAD, Adobe, and more, this Yoga does meet most requirements like CPU speeds, memory, and available storage, but falls short for most recommend due to not having a graphics card or GPU. Based off user reviews who used their Yoga for similar software, it worked just fine for most, but it depends on how advanced your use of software may be. A:AnswerHi, Mike. Just so you know, none of the Yoga 7 devices offered at Best Buy come with a pen, so we hope you do not feel as though you were not given the added value expected with it. Here is a link to the Digital Pen 2 that is one of the pens that can work with your Yoga (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lenovo-digital-pen-2-gray/6580719.p?skuId=6580719).
A:AnswerHi, motown. Thank you for your question. It ships with Windows 11 Home preinstalled. Regarding upgrades, the memory is soldered to the systemboard and the system's single storage slot is filled with a 1TB SSD, the max storage size tested on this Yoga. Also, most preinstalled applications can be preinstalled, but some cannot as they are integral or built into the system.
A:AnswerHey, barrymocity. The MobileMark max battery life rating for this model is 12 hours; however, battery life will vary depending on device settings, workload, and many other factors. Also, no, a pen is not included, but the system is compatible with pens that utilize MPP and AES pen protocols.
A:AnswerHi Char, thanks for your inquiry. It's difficult to compare the integrated graphics (Radeon 780M) of the Ryzen 7 8840HS processor to an AMD Radeon RX 580 since the latter is a dedicated graphics card, with its own graphics memory, while the integrated GPU (iGPU) utilizes VRAM, which can borrow the laptop's own system memory or RAM to determine the amount of VRAM you'd like to have.
A:AnswerHey, Yossi. It will depend on the model of Flex 5, but compared to the Yoga 7 2-in-1 devices, performance will make a difference as most Yoga 7 model have a higher wattage processor for more speed, faster memory, along with system features like webcam and display resolution being higher on average. Yoga generally also has higher battery capacity, higher quantity and capability of I/O ports and aluminum casing for durability and an elevated look.
A:AnswerThis "Flip to Turn On" feature is actually an option in a BIOS/UEFI menu. The default setting was "on". I turned it off and now it acts like a conventional laptop, where you use the power button to turn it on.
A:AnswerHey, horsth. There may be a way to do so; however, two things to disclose, first, new issued keys of Windows 10 are no longer sold by Microsoft. Second, during testing and certification, this system was using Windows 11 and not Windows 10, so functionality is uncertain.
A:AnswerHey, George. It is compatible with Linux and based off user reviews, the touchscreen should work automatically with most common Linux versions but could require some adjustments.
