Is cd and DVDs player an automatic in new laptops? null

No, actually newer 2 in 1 systems will not have built in CD/DVD drives. This model is one of those 2 in 1 configurations without a built in CD/DVD drive.

I don't know about other laptops, but to use a dvd or cd with this one you have to have a separate player...haven't gotten one yet. This is a negative, but it still has a lot of positives in my opinion.
