Absolutely. Got this for my daughter to use in school. Fits easily in her backpack. She even uses it like a tablet in class.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it would be perfect for college - very portable and quick.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That will depend on the programs you will need to use and the requirements of those programs. We recommend you check with your school for a list of the software programs you will be using, then check with those software publishers for their compatibility with Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration. Also check with your school about an overall recommendation on a computer configuration. The school's web site should provide such information.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its performance is solid. It's very lightweight and I like the feel of the keyboard. The screen is not huge, but perfectly fine for writing and doing other school activities. Tablet mode is also great for reading papers, textbooks, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used to travel a lot for work and lugged around a laptop that was heavier. This computer is super light. The 2 and 1 capability is perfect for lying down and working or as a regular laptop or tablet. The features and ease of access to apps, different keyboard configurations while in tablet mode and screen clarity are terrific. The only negatives are that the mouse is sensitive, so I have a wireless mouse or I use the tablet mode; there is only one USB port so I have a power hub accessory.
