SSD is a SATA M.2 connector NGFF (Next Generation Form Factor). Small, just chips on a small circuit card. RAM is DDR4. PC4‑17000 DDR4‑2133MHz non‑ECC Unbuffered The Hardware manual from Lenovo (see link) lists a 4GB Dimm and a 8GB dim PN's. The picture in the manual looks like there is only 1 Dimm socket. But a table in the manual lists 8GB max for the 14 inch and 16 GB for the 15.6 inch laptop. But they don't list a 16GB part number. Confusing. Except for the table in the manual which lists 16GB for 15 inch all other advertising says 8GB max for both screen sizes https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles_pub/yoga_710-14isk_14ikb_15isk_15ikb_hmm_201605.pdf If you don't care about warranty issue and are good with a screw driver the parts are fairly easy to replace. You have to remove the battery to get at the SSD.
