It's definitely convertible. When you switch it to tablet mode, the keyboard disables so you don't have to worry about buttons pressing. It sits up at an angle while in tablet mode and lays completely flat so as to appear like a real tablet. It is touch screen in both modes & that is one of my favorite features. It has the functionality of a regular laptop, but I have never had crazy high expectations for computers. My only complaint is battery life. It feels like it dies after about 8 hours which doesn't seem comparable to the other laptops I have seen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.convertible and 2 in 1 are used interchangeably to describe a touchscreen laptop, which unlike the typical laptop unfolds to a 90 degree angle, these are capably of rotating a full 360 degrees, thus allowing it to fold into a tablet, where your just seeing and using the touchscreen to operate it. the touchscreen can be used in any position.

It has both an Intel Core I-5 processor and an Nvidia GeForce 940mx graphics processor. There is a wide range of capabilities that this system is capable of. We recommend you start with the software you want to use, check the compatibility of the software to Windows 10. Also check the minimum/recommended hardware requirements to run the software you want to use. This system can handle most types of software.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The computer can be used for anything you'd use any other computer for. Due to the lower end graphical hardware, it won't perform all that amazing in demanding games, however, for things such as photoshop, microsoft office, web browsing, programming, etc... it should work great. Yes, this is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop, the screen folds back 360 degrees to turn the laptop in to essentially a tablet, when in this configuration, the trackpad and keyboard are disabled to prevent accidental keypresses or clicks, then you can return to using the keyboard and trackpad simply by folding the screen back the opposite direction to where it would be usable as a traditional laptop. If you can, I would highly recommend you go to your local BestBuy and try out some laptops that they have on display, find one that you feel comfortable typing on, holding, and would have the features that you desire.
