There is 8GB soldered to the motherboard which is not user upgradable. But there is 1 empty slot that is hidden under rectangular metal lid that you can use it to install another 8GB (MAX 16GB), but you have to pick one with 2133MHz speed and this is SODIMM 260pin module.

You can go to the Crucial website and purchase the right 8GB RAM (Lenovo Yoga 720-151KB) for about $70 and install it in less than 5 mins by yourself. Just make sure nothing is loose when you place the back cover. This is highly recommended if you are a multi-tasker.
