This model configuration uses a standard USB-c port as the device charging port. This port is reversable, meaning the USB-c format connection has no up or down - the cable can connect in either position to the charging port. First check to be sure that you are using the correct port to charge the computer. There is one dedicated charging port on the computer. The charging port, on the left side of the computer, will have an Electric Plug Icon next to it. There is also an LED light next to the Electric Plug Icon. When you plug the charger into a wall socket, then into this computer charging port, the LED light will come on, indicating that the computer is charging. You can check the current battery level by placing the touchpad cursor over the Battery Icon at the bottom right corner of the Windows Desktop Screen. No need to click, just place the cursor over the Battery Icon and a pop-up box will appear. I will indicate the battery status and charge level. The battery should fully charge from zero charge in the battery, to 100 percent charge in about 2 hours. If you continue to have issues, we recommend you contact Lenovo Premium Care for additional help at: 888-278-9707.
