It may or may not. This is not because of Lenovo limitation, but rather that you're employing a Dell Docking Station. Dell products are especially "keyed" to interact efficiently with other Dell products. That is true with many other docking stations as well. Also, limitation may exist even within a manufacturers line. For instance, if you decide to purchase a Lenovo docking station, please use the Lenovo site to assure that your specific model number is 100% compatible including the wattage support. If you are unsure, I would deal with the Geek Squad in person.

The Lenovo Yoga 7i has a full Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 port, which is more capable than the USB-C ports found on many Surface Pro models. That is why your Surface was limited to a single external monitor, while this laptop can drive more displays. In real-world use, this laptop can reliably support two external monitors through a native Thunderbolt dock, plus the laptop’s built-in screen. Supporting three external monitors at once is possible only under specific conditions. If your Dell docking station is Thunderbolt-based, three external displays can work only at lower or mixed resolutions, such as three 1080p monitors, or two 1440p and one 1080p. Three high-resolution displays, such as three 4K monitors, are not supported by the integrated graphics. If your Dell dock uses DisplayLink technology, three external monitors will work reliably because DisplayLink uses software-based video over USB. This is fine for office and productivity use, but not ideal for gaming or color-critical video work due to added latency. In short, this Yoga 7i will support more external monitors than a Surface Pro. Two external displays work reliably with a Thunderbolt dock. Three external displays are possible if the dock supports DisplayLink or if display resolutions are kept reasonable.
