• I agree with you. Lenovo seems to be playing a bit fast and loose with this standard, since the screen is rated at FHD+ (1920 x 1200), but 2k should be 2560 x 1440.

The 1920x1200 resolution is considered as 2K, as the horizontal resolution (number of pixels across the display) meets the parameters to fall under the 2K umbrella.
