nope. not upgradeable. then again--why isn't 16 enough for anyone using this particular product? not being rude, just saying there's no other option i can see that comes close in power or price point ATM.

I purchased the 16 Gig model. I don't need an upgrade. My guess is that each model of the 900 will not be upgradable. It's a $100 price difference between the 8 and 16 gig models. Buy the 16 if you think you'll need it. If your applications require 32 or 64 gigs you need a different platform, like a desktop.

I dont think it is. The back is all held together by torq screws. I have a feeling that removing the back is going to ruin the warranty, or i would check it out for you :)

Like almost all Ultrabooks, it is not. But unlike many other Ultrabooks, you can choose to purchase the Yoga 900, with up to 16GB RAM which is all anyone could need on a system like this.
