• this is definately an M.2 i have downloaded documentation from the manufacturer. bad news is it's expensive to do a 1tb upgrade. good news is that it can be done AND much cheaper than anything factory offered from M$ or Apple.

• No SSD is inbuilt and cannot be changed I would prefer that and not mess around
