Per a Lenovo expert, you can remap the shift key and the up arrow key using a free app called KeyTweak. I did just that. The download was free and the app is fairly easy to use. It took less than five minutes. Additionally, since the black key tops are simply snapped in place, you can carefully lift them off and snap them back on top of the keys that you remapped. No need to wait for later this year!!! :)
