The battery will stop taking a charge once it reaches 100%. Modern batteries no longer have a "memory", so you can begin charging at any level of battery charge and not create a problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most laptops these days outrun their battery life. It's not a big deal to keep it plugged in or drain it out till the end. You might end up optimizing the battery life but not worth the efforts and pain. Just use it normally and battery should run good for 3-6 years.
