“I hear a lot about heat and fan being loud. Does this happen when running big Excel sheets for example? Or just when using big softwares like CAD?”

Happens very randomly, mostly when charging, which in my case, since the battery of the devices is very good (12-14 Screen time in my case), happens less. But the fan noise could be annoying when it happens. I am pretty sure it will be fixed with a new update, don't see any reason why they wouldn't be able to fix it, but overall yes the occasional fan noise is the only thing I see annoying with the laptop, everything else is great in my couple of weeks of usage.

Not to say the fan didn't run, but that I did not hear it. We recommend you give this system a try yourself, see if it works for you. Best Buy has a 15 day return policy for undamaged merchandise, with your receipt. Give it a try, see if it works for you then let us know what you think.
