“I have only owned this new Lenovo Yoga six days and it runs really hot. I know this can not be good for the longevity of the PC. Why is it running so hot and is there anything I can do to fix it. I am not running many applications.”

Open up Task Manager, Click on More Details, then look at the Processes tab. Then sort the processes by cpu usage. Lenovo has a wifi driver that doesn't play well with Microsoft Windows 10's default wifi driver. It has a weird name, find it and kill it. The Microsoft Windows 10 driver works just fine for wifi.

If what makes you think the device is "running hot" is that the fan runs often, there is a BIOS update that may help with this: Here is the latest driver update from Lenovo addressing the fan noise issue: http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/Laptops-and-netbooks/Yoga-Series/yoga-910-13ikb/80VF/007TUS/downloads/DS119202. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. If you find the device is too hot to the touch to be running "normal", we recommend you take the device in to your local Best Buy location and have the Geek Squad take a look at the device ASAP.
