“I purchased this model back in June and returned it due to the constant loud fan noise(got hot too) but I'm thinking of giving it a second chance. Any tips on how to keep the fan noise from acting up every few minutes without causing overheating problems?”

• I've had it since August and have never had trouble with the fans. Maybe you got a defective one.

• This is a high performance system with its Quad-Core/Eight-Thread Intel Core i7-8550U processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB solid state hard drive. It will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device. You will hear the fan whenever it runs, this too is normal. Be sure to keep the vents within the watchband hinge clear for optimum cooling of the device.
