Your certified technician can replace the existing solid state drive with a compatible replacement. Check with your certified technician about options.

What I read is that the entire motherboard must be removed to access the space for expansion. The tech review I read said that both the RAM and the SSD can be upgraded. You didn't ask, but just to let you know, I'm thrilled with the build-quality of this laptop. Chose it over the Dell 13 and the Microsoft Surface laptop (and really, the Macbook Air). No regrets
