So I had just purchased the Yoga 9i 14 and I currently have the Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Dock Pro - It will not work with the Yoga at all. I can get the Dock to work with the MacBook Pro 2019, and the Surface Pro X (Gen 1). This dock states it is plug and play but it does not detect the Yoga. Any suggestions/thoughts someone may have in order to get them to work together?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thunderbolt is version 4. For docking station, I just purchased the ThinkPad 40AF0135US. Everything works as it should. I think the type you choose depends on whether you want to charge the laptop with the docking station or not. I did because it's 1 less cord to deal with. The 40AF0135US is rated at 135W and my IT person said that's what I needed for this laptop to ensure proper, full charging. If you don't mind charging using the power cord, I would say there are other docking stations that are just as good and perhaps a bit cheaper. Only thing I don't like about the 40AF0135US is it lays horizontal. My previous docking station stood vertically and it took up less desk space.

You can use a universal Thunderbolt 3.0/4.0 docking station like this one, there are many varieties, this is one example: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/belkin-thunderbolt-3-docking-station/6343826.p?skuId=6343826
