“How low can I let the battery get before I need to plug it in? And should I leave it plugged all the time, or will that harm the battery? Thank you”

You can let the battery drain to below 60-percent or lower. If you leave toy computer plugged in all the time, use the Battery Conservation Mode Power Setting to preserve the overall battery life. Don't leave it plugged in all the time. This has a solid 7 hours of battery life and charges relatively quickly. Continued charging without discharging the battery will shorten overall life and also off plug battery life during daily use.
