Questioni want to install purchased CD "adobe acrobat pro 2017" - how do I install since i don't have a cd drive?

- Answer First check with adobe to see if you can download the software from their website, using the Product Code that came with your CD version of the software. If not, you can purchase an external CD/DVD drive that is USB-based, Windows 10 compatible and use it to install any compatible software on to this computer. Before you install the software, we recommend you confirm that the software is compatible with Windows 10 and this computer's specific confirmation through the software publisher's website.

QuestionI bought this laptop to work from home but on a zoom call no one could hear me.cannot find how to turn on microphone. If there isn’t one which headset do you recommend?

- Answer Hi. I had the same issue with my Lenovo Yoga and it was driving me crazy but then I found THE solution: the built in Lenovo Vantage app keeps turning the mic off and sometimes even the camera. All you need to do is to open it (you can write Vantage in the search box on the bottom left), go to device, go to device settings (within the app), go to audio and enable the mic or to the video and enable the camera if it is off as well.

- Answer At the top, try sliding the little bar to the side. It covers the camera for privacy. I had the same issue until one day I noticed it. It’s so small & very easy to miss. I hope this solves your problem!

- Answer The Lenovo Yoga C740-14 ships with 8GB RAM soldered to the motherboard and is not upgradable. This configuration uses a 256GB NVMe TLC solid state hard drive. This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. We recommend you consult your certified technician about your storage upgrade options.

QuestionIf I can restore my OS through OneKey Recovery System, does it mean that I don't have to create a recovery drive? Can OneKey Recovery System restore a completely corrupt OS without having a recovery drive?

- Answer Always create your own off device recovery media. Remember, OneKey Recovery still has to access your system hard drive to restore your computer. It is possible a power supply failure within the computer or some other catastrophic failure could make access to the OneKey Recovery file impossible. That's why you want to still have a recovery file available off the computer on a separate storage device.

- Answer We recommend you check with the video conferencing APP you are using as the settings control you describe will be within the settings of the specific APP rather than within Windows 10 Settings. Also check for compatibility of the APP you are using with Windows 10 Home Operating System and this laptop's specific configuration.
