Dear Lenovo, I have confirmed with your agents on lenovo.com that this laptop does NOT use dithering. However, it DOES use PWM. PWM causes flickering in the display and can cause eye strain and headaches to those who are sensitive to it. I am one of those people, therefore I returned this laptop. Unfortunately -- because in every other way, this is the perfect laptop.
