QuestionAnyone have problems with bloatware loaded by Lenovo?Lenovo became infamous for pre-loading large amounts of spyware and ad-ware onto their laptops a year or so ago. Is anyone noticing problems with pop-ups, unexpected ads or other issues with this machine?

- Answer it should make a great student laptop. just get a usb mouse for cad/drafting. a desktop has better ergonomics if you do hours of drafting a day.

- Answer Yes, I imagine it should. I'm estimating this GPU is about as capable as a desktop HD 7750 card. The 8GB dual channel RAM is also sufficient, and it should outperform the first round of newer A10-8700p notebooks (like toshiba and lenovos) that were misdesigned with the single channel memory.

- Answer It's actually all black. The only silver is on accents around mouse pad and Lenovo branding. They don't have a silver model.

QuestionDisable Touchpad?does this lenova laptop allow the user to disable the touch pad so your palm doesn't inadvertently move your position when typing letters, etc...? Thanks.

- Answer that would be a software issue. windows should have a setting for that. I know linux mint has a setting for that. I haven't had the need to do so; the touchpad and its driver software seems to be pretty immune to false taps.
