“Is the vent fan speed reduced during cooking (and if yes to what speeed)? I read the entire user manual and there was no mention of this, like on other models. Someone please test it.”

I just tried mine and the speed only dropped during the microwave start, then right back to the initial fan speed. I think it's because of the amp draw when beginning to power up the microwave for cooking.
