- Answer It comes with all hardware for mounting. It requires both both wall and top mounting make sure you measure correctly!!!

- Answer No...the fan is necessary to cool the magnetron and it's power supply. Without it, your microwave won't last long.

- Answer Yes. Follow the instructions to take off the blower cover on the top, take out the two screws that hold the blower in place in the rear and rotate the blower so it is aiming up. Knock out the appropriate plates, mount the plate, put the two blower screws back in (in the rear) and replace the vent. There is an adapter piece that comes with the new units - this should help connect to the vent going to the outside.

- Answer The Magnetron is the electronic element that creates microwaves to heat food. Only that part is covered for 10 years. Any other repair parts or labor fees are paid by you.

QuestionDoes the depth dimension include the handle or just the box? I need to replace a Whirlpool model and the box measures 14 inches deep but that does not include the handle sticking out.

- Answer The width dimensions are the same on both microwaves. I looked up your model on LG.COM. The mounting of the microwave is different than yours but should fit. The mounting brackets on the wall will have to be changed from your microwave to the LMV1683ST bracket. I'm not sure of the mounting holes in the cabinet or the location of the power cord through the cabinet. You may want to chech the installation manuals for both microwaves on LG.COM to help make your decision.

- Answer The default venting is inside the kitchen. It will vent outside if you use a duct adapter and exit out the top rear of the unit. You have to cut an additional hole in bottom of your cabinet for that duct.

- Answer I have to remove the glass dish and then remove the hard plastic insert that rotates the dish. Replace dish and heat your food. I can find no other way to disable turntable function.
