• Sure...I mounted my soundbar underneath my tv.. on the wall using 2 picture hangers.

• Hi! To answer your first question- Yes it can be placed in front of and/or underneath the TV depending on your setup. The soundbar doesn't have to be mounted to a wall. ^Chris
