• Yes. But I have to turn it on with the sound bar remote. But goes off when I shut tv off. I don’t find this helping me with the sound I’m looking for. It doesn’t help with voices on shows I end up turning it up more than the tv alone. I’m probably returning it for something with more features.

• Yes. I had no problem doing so. Your cable provider remote should also be able to do so as well.
