“Will the volume setting (numbers) show up on the TV when using my cable remote. I have an 8 year old LG Smart TV and my cable remote changes and shows any volume change. One answer says you can control it but does not say if you can see the number.”

When the LG SK1 2.0 Channel Compact Sound Bar with Bluetooth® Connectivity is connected to an LG TV, the volume will be displayed as increasing numbers when raising the volume and as decreasing numbers when lowering the volume. Regrettably, we don't have any information on your cable remote to verify if using the cable remote will do the same of even if the cable remote can control the Soundbar. If it is a universal remote or learning remote that can be setup or programmed to control the Soundbar, it might show the numbers for the volume. You will need to contact your cable company to inquire if your remote is capable of controlling LG Soundbars...^IFV
