Yes, you can connect your TV to the soundbar via digital optical cable and your phone via Bluetooth. Then you can simply use the remote to change the source between the two. ^AC

As long as the soundbar is hooked up to your TV and set to default to using the soundbar, the next time you turn on your TV, the soundbar will turn on and work with the TV. I have done this many times with no issues.
