• Function I believe because it switches between optical input, Bluetooth, and portable input when pushed.

• The "F" stands for function and when you press that button it changes in order from where the sound if coming from, optical, bluetooth, and portable.

• The function labeled 'F' on the remote control for the LG 100W 2.0 ch Sound Bar with Bluetooth® Connectivity, Model # LAS260B changes the inou source. Page 7 of the owner's manual has diagram of the remote control with explanations for the buttons on it and page 8 shows an annotated diagram of the front panel and lists the 'F' as the function button which performs the same functions as on the remote control...^IFV
